The Head Chef
Hi, I’m Mike. I was born into an Italian family in Buenos Aires, and my passion for food began at a very young age.
When I was 9, my parents started hosting events at our country house. Watching how food brought people together and created happiness made me realize this was the world I wanted to be part of.
As a teenager, I cooked often for my family, learning traditional recipes that I still use today, now refined with my own personal touch.
At 16, I enrolled at the Argentine Institute of Gastronomy, where I earned my professional culinary degree.
After graduating in 2005, I began my professional journey with an internship at El Bulli, followed by a stage at Martín Berasategui.
Working in Michelin-starred kitchens taught me discipline, creativity, and deep respect for ingredients and technique.
Ibiza later brought new opportunities.
I became Head Chef at Blue Marlin and designed and opened the restaurant at Ushuaïa, among other projects.
Eventually, I moved into private cheffing, which allowed me to travel internationally and explore different cultures and cuisines.
Today, I’m based in the Balearic Islands, working as a private chef for a diverse clientele. I focus on pure flavors, healthy cuisine, and the constant pursuit of high-quality seasonal products.
From this journey, Luxury Bites Ibiza was born — our mission is to create unforgettable culinary experiences and share them with our guests.
